[ILUG] intel 740 graphics card and ge2500III ethernet card

If anybody has any information regarding those two cards under linux I'd
greatly appreciate it.
Also what is the first step in setting up a small network if all the
equipment is to hand?
And finally what is the easiest way to get 3d acceration under linux with a
opengl card?

I've searched for information on these subjects but info seems to be few
and far between on those cards.
