did someone here ask about serial modems? here's an announcement
from comp.os.linux.announce...

Subject: MAILING-LIST: libmodem new mailing-list.

Hello,

since more than one person asked me if libmodem have a mailing list, I
have decided to set up a majordomo based libmodem mailing list on
master.oasi.gpa.it.

If you are interested in libmodem and you want to partecipate to
discussions, announces, bug reports etc etc, you have just to subscribe to
the mailing list right now.

The mailing list is called of course `libmodem' and to subscribe you have
to send an e-mail to majordomo at master.oasi.gpa.it containing a one liner
message body:

subscribe libmodem

What is libmodem ?
==================

libmodem is a library that allow the developers of communication software
to manage in a simple way the serial lines of a unix system. It is
developed under Linux and I can't verify if it's working on other UNIX
flavors. I have heard that it work under Solaris.

Ciao,
	Riccardo.
