[getting rid of crtl-v paste]

If you run twm instead of fvwm does it still do it?

I think it's everywhere.

How are you logging in? If you have a graphical box with a penguin in the
   corner
then put in your username, password, and press F1 instead of Enter. Then try
running twm &. If that gets rid of it, it's an fvwm thing, and just use
   a real window manager.

I'll try but I doubt it. twm sucks little black toads just like fwvm.
I'm trying out AfterStep for a change. I won't tell you on a public
list what they expand the acronym fwvm to here :-)

I liked fvwm until I saw that. Blackbox is your friend.

:-)
