Hi,
I've trid all suggestions so far, (incl checking lead) no good.
I've also tried the commercial ver of OSS (bundled with SuSe 6)
I booted from a kernel (2.0.36) compiled without sound support &
followed the OSS instructions. The setup claimed to be successful.
I append output from cat /dev/sndstat. You'll notice no audio support!
What gives?
Any tips?
Thanks,
John
