Head to www.linux.org, and check the hardware link to the laptop page, it
has a list of all the machines that it runs on (and how to install it)...
PC cards: linux supports two different PC card interfaces, the Intel one
and another one, (and possibly a third)... it works better than NT's pc card
support, just make sure you get version 3.blah (there are loadsa links out
there), and build a new kernel and then build it, as it uses kernel modules.
Then it's just a question of putting the card in, and it goes beep, and
you have a network/modem connection :)
