This reminds me of that submarine film (whose name escapes me but I think it was
Crimson Tide, Or Scarlet Sea, or summat) with Gene Hackman (I think) and a very
good black actor (whose name also escapes me)

Hackman was the captain and the black guy his XO. The XO was disagreeing with the
captain who said to the XO at one stage
