Does anyone remember the old DEC mice with the two, slightly-angled
wheels underneath? They were cool. The part of the wheel that
touched the desk never went inside the case, so there was no need
to de-gunge your mouse every so often. And they seemed to be much
more forgiving of bad surfaces.
DEC engineering was good. Pity their sales/marketing department
couldn't do their jobs half as well...
