  Hi,

I need to buy a notebook and I want to run a 2.2 linux on it. Does
anyone have experience on that and on which combination

  Thanks much,
  Lucky

I've ran linux on a Digital Hinote VP7xx, and it works beatifully,
much better than NT. Compaq sell them now as the latest Armada's:
eg the 6500.

(disclaimer: i work for dec/compaq).
