boot of the install floppy, choose upgrade, and choose
ftp.esat.net:/mirrors/ftp.redhat.com/redhat/redhat-6.0/i386/RedHat
?
I've upgraded from 5.1 to 5.2 that way(ish) fine (choose local ftp)
watch out for non rpm'd installed stuff.
