Hi all,
I'm having a problem with a CT2960 Soundblaster card; it's set to IRQ 5,
8-bit DMA 1, 16-bit DMA 5, IO 0x220, and all works fine... for a while.
All I'm doing is sampling from it (into rmenc the RealAudio encoder), but
sometime after the sampling starts (from 5 seconds to 10 hours) the error
kernel: Sound: DMA (input) timed out - IRQ/DRQ config error?
occurs, causing rmenc to hang. There doesn't seem to be any conflicts -
I've changed the PNP settings a few times to try different DMA settings,
but the problem hasn't gone away.
Any ideas?
Gary.
