[ILUG] 6.0

[ILUG] 6.0

I upgraded 5.2 to 6.0 last night. It went very well, although I didn't
upgrade Apache because I have it compiled with php+mysql support. The
KDE interface is a lot faster and isn't as hungry as I rememeber it
being, although I'll know better in a few days after heavy usage :)

The RH install even saw that my partition didn't have enough room to
install everything and told me that I needed 31 megs extra on the /
partition. Nice.

I had earlier versions of Gnome installed and this time the
install/upgrade of Gnome went perfectly, which never happened when I
manually installed Gnome from ftp downloads..

Overall, happy with it.

Donncha.
PS. thanks Gearoid, Derek for the copy :)
