Hello all,
I got the following email last week from some clown
called C.Gilchrist last week complaining that I shouldn't be on
the list of Irish SETI users cos he thinks that living in Belfast
makes me British
>To: b.nesbitt at am.qub.ac.uk, garrett at cybervalley.co.uk>> What are you two doing on the Irish list with a .uk email address. Do
> you know that one of you is costing me a place in the top 9? You
> should join the British ranking. We'll see if you are still in the
> top 100 there.
Politics aside, I consider myself Irish no matter what he or others
think, but Garret replied to this asshole to get the following reply
> I'm going to take this up with the High SETI Council first, to have
> you disbarred for not following Internet regulations. If that fails
> I'm siding with the Unionist on this one to delete article 2 & 3,
> whatever they are. If that fails then the Irish High court is my
> next stop. You will not get away with this!
Just in case you missed that last point:
> If that fails then the Irish High court is my next stop.
Is this guy for real ???? It's only a bit fun for god sake.
What does every one else think, should I leave the ILUG SETI group
or should I stay. Also anyone with less CPU time than said asshole
let me know and I will run the SETI code under your email address to
ensure that he stays out of the top ten :)
PS
Sorry for dragging politics onto the mailing list but I laughed long and hard
when I these emails.
