Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,
We are currently organizing for the 30th of September a one-day-event on Linux
called Linux at work in London.
Linux at work is being organized by LogOn Technology Transfer. The goal of the
event is the promotion of Linux; the event will be a forum to
discuss applications, deployment strategies, compatibility and support
& reliability . To allow as many interested people as possible to attend the
event, the admission fee will be rather low (ca. 120,- GBP for visiting the
conference, including the coffeabreaks, lunch and the proceedings)).
This is
only possible due to the fact that several companies active in the
Linux-market have offered to support the event, e.g. BEA Systems,
Inprise, Oracle, SuSE and as mediapartner Computing.
The event addresses IT-maagers & staff, Developers, Consultants and end users.
We would be very interested to explore the possibility of a cooperation with
your association.
We could offer you to have a presentation table in the registration/
coffeabreak area, where also the sponsors have their demo spaces. We can also
include your logo in our brochures and ads, as well as point from our website
to your website. Also, if there is an interest, a speaker of your association
could join the panel discussion at the event. Your members could get a special
price on the admission fee.
We would be happy, if you could help us promote the event, for example by
putting a banner on your website or allowing us to distribute the information
on the event to your members (in whichever way you would prefer:
mailings, e-mail)
I hope that this appears as an interesting opportunity for you and I am
looking forward to your reply.
Yours sincerely,
Goeran Gutberlet
