   Yup.  Got four of em.  Setup TCP and IP+netmask+gateway on the
machine
  and just point the printcap entry to it:

firstdup:\
        :sd=/var/spool/lpd/firstdup:\
        :mx#0:\
        :lp=/var/spool/lpd/firstdup/null:\
        :sh:\
        :lf=/var/log/lpd-errs:\
        :rm=192.168.1.1:\
        :rp=raw:

   here, rm=192.168.1.1 is the printer's IP address.

   If you can't set the IP directly on the printer, you may
   have to use HP JetAdmin software from a windows machine to 
   do it.  I've did this for a colour printer no probs.

   You may be better off having just the one server accessing this
   printer as problems may occur otherwise.
