Running SuSE 6.1 usually with KDE.
Has anybody any idea why KDE default CD player works no problem but none other,
such as XCDM or freeamp will respond? They do come up graphically but do not
respond to any commands!
I'm on a third install and must confess that SuSE is a bit quirky - i.e these
apps worked on previous install (other apps have worked, no longer work, still
work, continue to crash). Also I had to create a second user because no CD
player would work under my usual login - but amazingly KDE default CD works with
the new user?
Fresh install? Or RedHat 6.0 is on it's way - is this less quirky?
