Any idea how I can solve this:
I've run RedHat 5.1 on my laptop (Gateway Solo 5100) for over a year --
works perfectly. I made a very big mistake: I "upgraded" to RedHat 6.0.
Ever since then I've had no end of trouble. My email is buggered, Gnome is
s&^#1t and the worst problem is this:
When I suspend my laptop about 50% of the time the machine hangs a few
seconds after a restore. It takes over 10 minutes and a good chunk of
battery to fsck its way back to normal again. I've tried a few combinations
of kernel power settings but no luck.
Anyone know a proper answer to this?
Thanks,
Joe.
