[ILUG] RE: anyone with redhat6 cd in dublin today?

[ILUG] RE: anyone with redhat6 cd in dublin today?

i went over to clubi yesterday and got the cd from thomas bridge.

RH6 installed straight onto a proliant with a SMART array controller. no
probs at all. very impressive. I was expecting maybe to have to hang a disk
off the plain onboard scsi controller and patch kernels and stuff to get it
going - but i didn't.

So you're back to your old employer then? If you want to drop round here for
a smoke or something give me a buzz on my mobile, should be here till 7 or
so. Or if you need a lift back in to town around that time let me know.

Thanks for the offer of the CD!

regards,

Paul Jakma
