Hi,
After the last SPAM mail that was posted (if my memory serves me right ,
wasn't it for Korean socks, or something "useful" like that) there was a
thread on this.
And someone found out, that the US Congress was trying to pass/ deciding
on a law like that.
Saying thats its ok to send that kind of sh&te to a list / or anyone, is
crap.
I bet that works the same way as the good old "if you don't want to recive
anymore wonderful offers just reply and say unsubscribe". When in all
actuality what they do is, when you reply with the "un-subscribe" mail,
they say, "oh, goody, another active address", and continue with the
onslaught.
Sad, but true.
There was a post somewhere that gave info, on a compnay that was
introduceing a SPAM sentry, and mail contentsentry for mail systes. Its
probably another invasion into personal mail, but might it be the way to
go? in a sorry state, eh?
ok, i had to get that out.
PS: anyone ever used DEXXA mouses under *nix?
Nice scoll wheel mouse..
any help?
thanks.
