[ILUG] kernels & unresolved symbols

[ILUG] kernels & unresolved symbols

Hi all,

I recently had a crash on one of my linux boxen here and decided to
reload everything from scratch rather than from backup (I was bored).
So using a Slackware 3.6 CD, I set up the system again and had no
problems until upgraded my kernel to 2.2.10 again, to bring it back to
the kernel version I had been running previously. I have a funny
feeling I missed a step though because now I am coming across a LOT of
"unresolved symbols" error msgs. If anybody can tell me what I did
wrong I'd be extremly grateful, as this is driving me insane.

Anybody feel like leading me in the right direction?

Thanks again,

Ruairi
