[ILUG] MD and RAID stuff

After a disk failure here. How do I go about mirroring
the root partitions and stuff using the MD tools?

The current setup in the machine is
2 * 9.1 Gb LVD SCSI drives, and 1 6.4Gb UDMA drive.

I'm going to use the UDMA drive for topclass (non-critical), but
I want to mirror one of the 9.1 Gb drives onto the other one. Can
I do this now that the machine is all set up
[root at slate /root]# df -k
Filesystem 1k-blocks Used Available Use% Mounted on
/dev/sda1 497667 78463 393502 17% /
/dev/sda6 1981000 1561563 317025 83% /cache
/dev/sda5 497667 241337 230628 51% /home
/dev/sda7 1492311 538426 876775 38% /var
/dev/sda8 1492311 474427 940774 34% /usr

or do I have to start again (not really an option :()

Regards
L.
