Thanks for the reply...... I did as you suggested, and everything looks
okay in
/lib/modules/*, but still getting those errors. Something I SHOULD
have
mentioned in my earlier mail though is that syslog reports the following
errors
on every boot:
"Symbol Table has incorect version number" is repeated twice, followed
by,
"Cannot find map file"
I presume this has some bearing on the problem, though I don't know
what's
causing it,
