a quick way to see is to do an insmod on the 3cxxx.o drivers you'll
find in /lib/modules/blah/net . some drivers share common functionality
you'll find in another module, so if it complains about missing symbols
see if the symbol names give a hint (i'm thinking 8390.o is required
but what do i know?).
see this web site for more info - and possibly some config tools if you
need them: http://cesdis.gsfc.nasa.gov/linux/drivers/
