Nothing in this is news to anyone, but I'm letting off steam here.
I use windows mostly at home (mostly for games, but some Internet as
well). It's been misbehaving quite a lot lately, so last night I was
finally provoked into reinstalling it. The piece of **** then
overwrote my MBR, having failed to install properly the first time. So I
had to reinstall it again, I still don't have my LILO prompt back yet
(haven't gotten around to find the Linux boot disc I've lying around
somewhere). Finally I seem to have persuaded it to behave[1] but I had
to reboot about six times after installing because I had to install TCP/IP
and the drivers for my video card, as well as the three reboots that M$
seem to think is neccessary.
Can some please release some decent games for Linux. Please?[2]
T.
[1] In so far as Windoze ever behaves.
[2] CivCTP doesn't count as I'd bought the Windows version a week before
Kate's posting.
