I had a real good crash, lost Caldera and windows, I really want to get
Caldera back (miss my KDE desktop), and am afraid windows will collapse at
any time. I have many conflicts but am going to attack them one at a time. I
have less than a year (about 7.5 months computer experience). Problem one,
is to find out how many IDE devices a HP 8390 will support? HP has given me
3 different answers to that one, KSI gave me two different answers and
finally at the different web sites, I found two different answers. This is
what I have, two hard drives (IDE), two CD roms (IDE), LS 120 (IDE). The
LS120 is connected to a KW-557A Super ISA-Bus Multi-I/0 Card. I know this is
a wee bit off topic, and would appreciate your patience. in this, for I
really want to get linux back on my machine. You could feel sorry for me,
having to use windows.
thanks in advance
Nathaniel
