I had loads of problems with the 3c509 at home, until i finally figured out
my problem. I was rolling my own kernel and some form of exhaustion
induced dyslexia set in and i had compiled in 3c590! (only). Of course the
driver complained, but a huge blind spot had settled in and i fecked around for
ages before i finally decided to believe the error messages.
