Hi,
I'd just like to say that the list in the past 2 months has probably been
at its best, I don't know exactly what you count as meaningless dribble,
the amount of OT posts is quite low, and I've just looked through the
archive most OT posts are either Irish phone system related, or
anti-Gateway, and these made up a small amount of what was on it....
I also have seen some people getting help and some people not,
also I personlly am unable to reply to any mail longer than a page
in my time available, so long rants are also something I don't reply to...
I have not seen much ranting or egoboosting, or college boredom ones as
many other lists I spend my life on ...
So we are sorry to see you go, but if this list was just a list about
helping newbie linux users you would see a lot of experienced people
signing off for lack of interest, you need a balance, and I think we are
finding it, also the social list has gotten most of the utter crap
lately...
