Sierra Launches Poll on Linux Gaming
The emergence of the Linux operating system in computer gaming seems
natural, given the preference some hardcore users have for the OS. The
surprising thing is the extent to which the OS is gaining momentum in stores.
More and more titles are being ported to Linux for sale in retail outlets, and
there are no signs that this is going to slow down. Soon, Linux and Windows
version of games will be released in the box and more and more hardware
vendors are creating Linux drivers for their products. Today, Sierra Studios
launched a survey on their web site requesting people to choose which of its
upcoming titles they most want to see ported to the OS. The choices are
TeamFortress 2, Pharaoh, Homeworld, Gabriel Knight 3 and Babylon 5. You
can participate in the poll here (http://www.sierrastudios.com).<color><param>0100,0100,0100</param>
