A few weeks ago Diarmuid Moloney posted a message asking if anyone was
interested in a Cork Linux Users Group. He got a few replies, including
one from me.
I arranged to meet him, and myself and Owen met him 2 weeks ago and
brainstormed some ideas.
I want to invite anyone interested in creating a Cork Linux Group to the
Oyster Tavern, off Patrick St., Cork at 7pm on Saturday for a discussion
on what we could do, aims of a local user group, and other related
matters.
I have some notes taken, and some ideas for topics of conversation but
this meeting is to serve two purposes mainly:
1. gauge interest in the Cork Linux guys.
2. Keep up a momentum.
I haven't booked places or anything in the pub, so first come, first
served.
Not posted to ilug-social because it's not an excuse to get drunk - that
happens later!
Donncha.
PS. contact me on 086-8518888 if you have any queries.
