is a few facts I sould share with you. First of all the one that started
this whole thing FreeServe. The first week after release this was the best
thing since sliced bread , prople were leaving there own paid ISP to join
it, left , right and center. But this was where the problem begain , the
bandwith did not increase with the hughe increase in users and after about
a month 2400Bps connections (I am not jokeing)where common place. Then of
couse when people decided that they were fed up of this connection speed
they went to uninstall freeserve to go back to there old ISP , found the
second probem there was no uninstall option. Phone there technical support
to uninstall the program, good idea ,about an hour @ £2 a minute , fun, fun
, fun.... Well I hope this has

We did a bit of poking around in work and it turns out OceanFree is
basically LineOne (a UK freeserve type thing) in disguise. Their servers
are not and their tech support does not appear to be in Ireland and it's
quite possible that their modem banks aren't here either - not very
patriotic on the part of the ESB is it?
