there was some talk a while back about the Psion5 and linux. I noticed that
dabs
have some in stock:
Psion Series 5 4Mb £215
Psion Series 5 8Mb + PsiWin v2.2 £275
Psion Series 5 MX 16Mb EP2+PsiWin £319
How useful are they at the moment? I'd personally love a handheld that could
integrate easily with my pine email at home. Maybe sync my ~/mail through
coda.
So anybody have first hand experience of the Psion5 and linux, (or other
easily acquireable handhelds). Which has the best linux useability/price
ratio?
Personally I'd love a little laptop capable of running X at a decent
resolution but with decent battery life, eg something like a Vaio but with a
StrongARM CPU, or a netwinder laptop.
thanks,
Paul Jakma.
