This post on the Samba-NTDOM mailing list details one person's attempt at
using PAM_SMB for authentication, and a custom script for creating user
accounts on the Linux machine corresponding to those on the NT box - might
be useful here. Not a complete description, but could be a starting point,
if you really want to do this.
