ok, take a virgin redhat 6.0 box.
run gimp, and the bovination logo script-fu. it fails - can't find the
font. read the docs, find that you need some new fonts. go get
freefont and sharefont tarballs. and put them in
/usr/lib/X11/fonts/{freefont|sharefont}
still doesn't work.
any hints off the top of anyone's heads?
