[ILUG] RH 6 and Linuxconf

Depends on how you've edited it. I had a catostrophic experience when editing 
the rc.inet1 (I'm possibly thinking of a slackware file but this was on RH and 
the file was the RH equivalent). 

I don't know about named.conf but I've played around with smb.conf with nothing 
nearly like the same consequences.

Are you starting sabma automatically each time you boot the machine? If so cease 
doing this until you have a stable smb.conf file.
