[ILUG] X Noise

[ILUG] X Noise

although in your case it's not interference with the sound card but the pc
speaker. so maybe interference on the ISA bus. Exactly what kind of a sound
is it? ie a definite "interference" type buzzing, or a "well-defined" buzz
noise?

tell me: if you run something like x11perf or a a garish xscreensaver, do
you get the same interference? If not then it's probably not the video card.
