If memory serves me right there is no jumper on the modem at all.
Well nothing of any use anyway.
Bluetak is good.
Wish there were chips to make it a real modem again, ah well.

What I think I'm going to do is see if there's a jumper that can be changed
on
th modem to disable the speaker. I'd be afraid to cut the speaker out
altogether
because it could be in series with the line instead of accross it.
If the worst comes to the worst I'll tape loadsa foam to it and hopefully
it'll
act as a muffler.
