It is the nature of Linux users,
To intrinsically distrust the leader in any
segment of the computing market. We are the only userbase that bitch when a
company who's primary interest is served by expanding marketshare, reaping
the fiscal rewards and who still manage to be "on our side" start to do well
for themselves. I dunno where this comes from but It's probably the most
destructive aspect of the community. If we don't snap out of this, Linux
will always remain a niche area of the market. Linux vendors wont have time
to worry about competitors, they'll be too busy worrying about the mood
swings of the community.
