contraction of "am not". it's been in general usage for quite a long time,
as long as i've spoken english anyway :) so i assume it's as valid as
"won't", "didn't", "shouldn't", etc.. certainly it's more valid than "ain't"
which is the americanism of "amn't".
anyway.. that's exactly the kind of thing a good UK english dictionary file
sort out. so where can i find one that's ispell friendly?
