[ILUG] ye olde scanner search

[ILUG] ye olde scanner search

Hi! Totally random question of the day: do folks know of a company/store
near/in Dublin that sells a SCSI-based scanner that I could hook up to my
linux system? (It's got an Adaptec Ultra2 SCSI host adapter and the suitable
port in the back.)

I'm aware of the list for SANE, so the specific scanner isn't necessarily the
question, more of where to find one. The three scanners listed in the Argos
catalog appear to only be ones using the parallel port, the use of which I've
been told in a few different places is close to the embodiment of hell to get
working. :)

Thanks!
B
