no. you want one of two things that no one here can give you.
if you want the drivers for the modem under windows 98, you will need to
contact compaq for the drivers. unless the license says otherwise i
suspect only they have the right to distribute that software. this
might be a good time to consider the real advantages of free software
(as in speech, not beer).
or, like me, you would like a linux driver for your modem. my laptop
also has a modem that is partially software driven, and since the
manufacturer does not release the specifications it isn't possible to
make a driver for it. or at least it is quite difficult.
