Under Preferences/Fonts, I find it often best to select the fonts you
want and then choose to always use my fonts, over-riding
document-specific fonts. Also, turning off the "Allow Scaling" helps.
It seems to depend on the particular setup you have as to which is
better - some machines I allow document specific fonts (disabling
dynamic ones), and on other machines find that sticking to my own fonts
works better.
