If it's the omni.net range , there is a multilink PPP option in the
configuration manager. You need to check that to combine both channels .
Also probably a good idea to use the call bumping option aswell . This lets
it drop a channel so you can take/make a phonecall at the same time.

Alan.

Just the one AFAIK.
Neighbour of mine got one installed on Monday I set it up for him.
The TA was a stock standard Eircom supplied one made by Zyxel.
I'm full sure he's got basic rate ISDN but he can only connnect at 64k,
Now thats no bad thing and he doesnt really want to pay for two calls at a
time
anyway but I was just curious. The configuration software doesnt give you an
option to use both B channels.
Anyone have any ideas?

Cheers
Robert

With a standard ISDN socket, as provided by Telecom Eireann, you
get a wall-mounted unit which has two sockets, each with it's own
phone number.

If you have an ISDN TA which is capable of doing 128k, can it run
over a single socket (i.e. can it access both B-channels over a
single cat5 cable) or does it need to have both sockets connected
to it via two cobales?

Regards,

Vin
