There are people working on it as we speak (opensource.creative.com),
and if you get the current snapshot, and apply the patch from
Bug #51 of their bugzilla server, (link from the site above), then
playback should work, but recording is broken still...

If you're not comfortable rebuilding source and patching it, this isn't
for you though :)

Basically, get the source,
cd /usr/src
tar zxvpf /home/allen/emu10k1-19991104.tar.gz (be careful, you may
want to do tar ztf first to make sure it won't overwrite anything if
you do this as root).
Make sure the source in /usr/src/linux is the same as the kernel you're
running (check the Makefile and uname -r).
Then grab the patch from bugzilla, and do
cd /usr/src/emu10k1
patch -p1 < /home/allen/emu10k1-patch (or whatever)
Then make should produce emu10k1.o, which you copy to /lib/modules/`uname -r`/misc

Hope that lot makes sense..
