Sounds like there could be a prob with the system time on your box.
Check the time in Linux, set it to the correct time if it's wrong (probably).
Power off the box for a few hours & power back on.
If time is off again then it sounds like the internal system battery is
dead/dying. This ranges from annoying to terminal depending on mbd
design.
