I have had it working well under RH5.2, so presumably (?) it can be
made to work under 6.0
It was not easy for me though and I had some help. My card was an 8
meg Jaton i740 AGP card. As will be known by most AGP cards have had
their troubles in linux, and the last time I checked XFree86 did not
support it as standard.
Procisioninsight.com released binary XServers for it - I actually
downloaded the two files needed, and I brought my box to Kevein Lyda's
installfest last February (I think) and then got some help from the
guys there, so I personally am of limited use, I'm afraid. They didn't
seem to have any real trouble though

I think there is a different download based on whether you use glibc
or libc5
Actually, I just saw a press release on RedHat.com that these are now
open source (I'm out of date)

do a search on RedHat.com for i740, you'l find loads of stuff
