I installed Apache Web-server on my Red Hat Linux 6.0, and put a couple of
web-pages on it. If I start it up Apache and then connect to Esatclear, and
type the following in the Netscape url box: http://127.0.0.1/Jenny.html I
can view one of the pages. It is working like a dream. Can anybody tell me
if the page that I am viewing is just a loop-back to my own machine or will
others be able to view it also?
If it is just a loop-back, does anyone know if I can choose an IP address
and domain name for Apache or do I have to purchase and register same?
Regards,
Eugene O'Leary.
