[ILUG] LAID - very slight criticism

[ILUG] LAID - very slight criticism

As we're talking about LAID...

Of course, I second all the "Thank you" messages that already went to the
list - great job!

However, I was a bit amazed about one thing (take this as a suggestion for
improvement next time round... ;-) ):
With all those "computer heads" around, did nobody think of putting up one
machine in front of Boole 3 with a display a la "Next talk: XXXXX at hh:mm"
and/or the *current* schedule?
As far as I heard, the schedule slipped significantly due to all sorts of
invokements of Murphy's Law (my conmiserations to all hit by Mr. Murphy -
you have my deepest respect for managing anyway!) and I for one would have
found it helpful to have something like that - but maybe that's just me.
Anyway, I'm sure, someone will come up with a nifty idea for such a
display... :-) (hm... embedded Linux in an LED display? <big grin>)

Cheerio,

Thomas
