I registered and have hosted www.wvWare.com now. Its just a site for
the wv library, its got an online conversion utility so you can
track the state of wvHtml and submit bugreports on the output. Give the
prerelease site a spin.
I had to miss LAID this weekend (and the microsoft finding of fact stuff)
coz I was in Germany (hamburg to be precise) and I got a look around
the stardivision building there. Very professional setup, high quality
working environment and loads of very nice people. Star really has what
it takes. They have a very organized bug and feature tracking mechanism,
they are really motivated people, with only about 150 staff covering
every area from techsupport down to the various development teams. Microsoft
has 700-800 people working on the japanese port of word alone, which should
give you some perspective on how good the sd staff are. The quality of their
product cannot really be doubted. I think that their next release will be
another award winner, can't say anything about whats being planned, or whats
in the pipeline unfortunately. But I imagine you can make an educated guess
as to what particular area they are interested in.
