[ILUG] KPPP and Authentication

Hi,
I can connect to IOL using "ifup ppp0" so I know that my chat scripts are OK.
However I am now having trouble in configuring the KDE dialler KPPP. Despite
using the same "send & expect" strings my log window shows the process falling
over after IOL send "Password" . The error is "authentication failure". I have
tried all the options in authentication ie "script, terminal, Pap and chap".
After the "authentication failure" IOl's server asks again for login and at
that stage KPPP sends my password!! Any idea why it does not send it the
first time?? The joys of a point and click set-up!! Does anyone know what
files KPP sets up so that I can edit them directly?
