Any form of a "relativly" DDS drive would do the trick there ....

The full details of what stuff actually does are in the default conf
file as comments in the
"NEIGHBOR SELECTION" bit...
The handy thing about this is that if your parent goes down the local
one will attempt to retrieve stuff directly if it can.
