It's nothing to do with Rockridge, which is a spec. for the inclusion of Unix
friendly names on a CD. What you're interested in is called El Torito, and on
a Mandrake box I have here , it's documented in 
/usr/doc/mkisofs-1.12b4/README.eltorito .
